What Registered Nurses Do:
Working in a clinic, dental, dermatological, pediatric or hospital setting, nurses are needed anywhere and everywhere medical procedures are performed.
It is their primary responsibility to offer direct patient services including education, treatment, health screenings, administering medications, , performing diagnostic testing, completing medical charts, assisting in treatment planning, providing emergency care, and assisting in surgery.

Registered Nurse Average Salaries:
AS a general rule of thumb most staff floor nurses and clinical nurses make around $60,000 to $65,000 annually and then there are those who choose specialties such as ER medicine whom make $72,000- $75,000 annually. Depending what type of nursing you want to go into; there are many different pegs of the financial and salary ladder for you to climb during your career as a successful nurse. One cannot graduate from college and expect to make $75,000 their first year in a smaller community, but this is not unachievable by any means either.
