It's really sad to know about how other CNA staffs are maltreated by their own co-workers. But that's just how life is sometimes. Just got to be strong, positive and stay professional no matter what. So long as you're on the right track, then nothing could go wrong.

I was a CNA for 8 years before becoming an RN. It is the higher ups that cause burnout for the CNA. NO respect and high patient load. RN's (most) will NOT help the CNA. I used to give baths, change beds, etc after I got my RN. I heard the other RN's say, "WHY" are you doing that work? "WHY", are you giving that bed pan, let the CNA do it. "WHY", are you answering that light? I think it has to be a team effort. If the RN is busy...OK...that is one thing but to just sit there and NOT help the CNA...not a good thing.

This is very informative post for CNAs. Amusing to know that Nevada comes last in the list .. though Las Vegas is the place for making money!
