Just before our senior year in high school comes to a close, there is a tie when we sit down with our counselor to discuss our future career with us. At that moment of our lives choosing a career may not be at the forefront of our minds. After all, we are just teenagers and all we care to know are the trivial things in life and how to have fun. Not all health practitioners can speak a foreign language. Taking up a course in nursing does not require us to enroll in a foreign language class. Some say that back-breaking jobs are left for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to do. Compared to the work of doctors and nurses, the job of a CNA is would seem like manual labor. The responsibilities of CNAs are usually the same worldwide. Some state legislations however, place boundaries on the CNAs’ responsibilities that are more stringent than others.
